Gliding Chip came into our rescue program on March 28, 2025. Gliding Chip came into our rescue program from a Kansas Kill Pen and saved by the Standardbred Retirement Foundation. This sweet boy needed a safe place, and we agreed to help. Gliding Chip is a Beautiful, Black, Standardbred, Gelding. Gliding Chip was foaled in 2011, making him 14 years old upon arrival into our program. Gliding Chip is a bit thin and will need to gain a little bit of weight. Gliding Chip is a sweet boy and loves attention. He is halter broke and broke to lead. We will update as he gains a bit of weight with his adoption status. Update October 2025 Gliding Chip is now seeking a forever, loving home to call his own. This a super sweet gelding. He is very well trained. He rides great! I would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area as we don't know when he was routinely ridden last. This horse has a solid head on his shoulders. If you are looking for a solid family horse, this is your guy. Gliding Chip has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance.
